“America Day” Baseball Game Celebrates Sister Cities: Tainan and Kansas City

KC Parks is excited to announce the 2020 Tainan Sister City Committee has organized an upcoming baseball event to help promote the sister-city relationship with Kansas City. Tainan and Kansas City have been sister cities since 1978 and both have professional baseball teams with lions as their mascot. The game is named “America Day”.

WHY: During this difficult time all over the world, both Mayors offer encouragement before the game.   Both cities happen to have a professional baseball team and their mascots are lions.
