To celebrate Earth Day, KC Parks is offering several opportunities for anyone to participate. Spring Cleaning events are scheduled for April 22, 23, and 24 and KC Parks has prepared litter kits with gloves and trash bags for anyone to pick up at nine of our Community Centers (excludes Westport Community Center which is closed for renovations). On Earth Day, KC Park also kicks off our Partners in Parks program, pairing up businesses and neighborhood organizations who commit to help monitor, clean and improve a park or boulevard. JE Dunn Construction is a founding partner with KC Parks and Ilus Davis Park, located across the street from their downtown headquarters.
