WHAT
Walktober: For the second year, KC Parks, BikeWalkKC and Jackson County have partnered on a series of events encouraging everyone to walk, ride or run a different trail every Sunday in October. One of the few things that has not changed during the pandemic is our ability to enjoy the great outdoors! The month of October is especially ideal for exercising outside ~ the temperatures are cool and the colors are spectacular. Although Walktober may look a bit different this year, it is still a terrific opportunity to safely tour some of autumn’s most vibrant landscapes and make movement a priority!!
