On November 15, City officials, Native American council members, Northland leaders, and Francois Chouteau himself, gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking/project kick-off for construction of the Francois Chouteau & Native American Heritage Fountain. The new fountain honors the founder of Kansas City, Francois Chouteau, and the Native Americans who lived and traded in the area. It will be the third fountain located North of the River and the 49th in our City of Fountains. More>>
