Bugs Extravaganza

Lakeside Nature Center in Swope Park, 4701 E. Gregory Blvd.
Bugs Extravaganza presents information about bugs in an interactive fashion. Tables include metamorphosis, ‘how bugs see’, noises bugs make, cool scientific trivia (X-rays, fossils, etc). Tattoos of bugs and crafts are included. Kids are invited on a ‘bug’ walk – they identify bug types from large photos and win a small prize. There will be live caterpillars, munching away on their favorite leaves. Crafts and tattoos round out the experience.
