The Expanded Field, Call for Creative Partners – Deadline: May 1, 2018
If you have an arts or cultural event, program, or activity happening between August 25 and October 28, 2018, we invite you to submit an application for the Open Spaces Expanded Field. We’re currently partnering with area museums, exhibition spaces, concert and performance venues, to develop a calendar filled with daily and weekly activities. From pop-up exhibitions and film screenings, to vocal and dance performances, we’d like to embark on a cross-promotional partnership with you. Call for Makers – Deadline: April 15, 2018
Calling all local makers (including artisans, culinary artists, crafters, commercial makers or makers of items made in Kansas City)! Open Spaces covers nine weekends. We invite you to sell your creations and innovations during one or more weekends at the Open Spaces Makers Pavilion in Swope Park. Jewelry, ceramics, glass, metalwork, culinary arts, textiles, printmaking, graphic arts, woodwork, soaps, and almost any conceivable technique for making objets d’arts is welcome.
