On June 1, KC Parks celebrated the official opening of the new multipurpose trail connecting Cliff Drive in Kessler Park to the River Market and the Riverfront Heritage Trail.
Features of the project include:
- 3,643 linear feet of 10’ wide concrete trail through Kessler Park and along The Paseo
- 22 ADA Ramps
- 3,951 square feet of new concrete sidewalk
- 21 “Scenic Byway” signs
- 42 “On Street Bike Sharrows” along 5th Avenue, Lydia Avenue and Dora Avenue
- 7 “Share the Road” signs along 5th Avenue, Lydia Avenue and Dora Avenue
- 200 linear feet of steel fence
